What's the difference between iso 5199 pumps and iso 2858 pumps
ISO 5199 covers many aspects of a mechanically sealed pump's construction, dimensions, performance and testing. Therefore an iso 5199 pump must conform to all of these. An iso 2858 pump only conforms to the dimensions and performance criteria as laid down in iso 5199 this method is used for plastic pumps, mag drive pumps and canned pumps that cannot by their very nature conform to iso 5199. ISO 15783 is the official equivalent standard for magnetic drive pumps based on iso 5199.
