3-A Certified Pumps
AxFlow UK offers several ranges of pumps with 3-A approval
The American A-3 organisation has existed since the 1920's and originally concentrated on the dairy and egg processing industries. Since then it has widened its scope to cover other applications.
For many years, authorization to use the 3-A Symbol rested on a system of self-certification. This system changed in 2003, when the requirement for a third-party verification inspection was implemented for licensees and was completed for all standards by 2007 brining it more in line with the requirements of EHEDG.
Using 3-A certified pumps:
- Reduces the chance of contamination.
- Reduces the time spent cleaning them.
