Nitrile seals
Nitrile is a very popular material for variety of materials or applications. It is the most widely used elastomer in the seal industry.
Nitrile (Nitrile- butadiene rubber is a type of synthetic rubber polymer. Unlike other rubbers nitrile is resistant to heat ageing, this is an important features as it allows nitrile not to harden and lose it damping capability as quickly as natural rubber and other solutions. Nitrile is very versatile and has strong resistances to cuts, tears, abrasion, and caustics aliphatic hydrocarbons. It also is able to withstand a very large temperature range from minus 40C to 135C.
