Viton O rings

Viton is a synthetic rubber and fluropolymer elastomer (fluoropolyme) it has a very high resistance to solvents, acids and bases. Viton is unique as its significantly denser than most types of rubber, which makes Viton seals some of the strongest. It can operate a wide range of temperatures – 20C to 210C making it ideal for high temperature applications.

Viton is the best for withstanding chemical resistance, it resists corrosion from a greater variety of fluids and chemicals than any other non-fluorinated elastomer. It’s also extremely resistant to compressions, atmospheric oxidation, sun, weathering, oxygenated automotive fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, fungus, mould, and more, it’s also more resistant to burning than most other materials.
