Preparation of cooled condensate
Technology for preparing cooled condensate for cutting and breaking sprays in a paper mill.
The system consists of three packaged units. The first skid, called Pump & cooling station, pumps condensate water from the condensate retention tank, filters it and cools it to 60 °C. This condensate is transferred further on to two other units - The trim squirt unit and the Tail cutter unit. A trim squirt unit is used to pressurize condensate to a pressure of up to 30 bar (g) for bursting squirts. The tail cutter mixes condensate with drinking water in a ratio of 7/1 to the lower aggressiveness of the medium. This mixture is then pressurized to 6 bar (g) and cooled to 25 °C for trimming squirts.
