AxFlow UK Expands Service Offering with Acquisition of Moody Direct Ltd, Strengthening Leadership in the Dairy and Food & Beverage Industries
AxFlow UK, a leader in fluid handling solutions, is excited to announce the acquisition of Moody Direct, a long-established supplier of solutions and services to the dairy, food & beverage, brewery, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Moody Direct is a leading, specialist supplier of spares, components, projects and service covering a broad range of hygienic equipment. These include pumps, valves, homogenisers, separators and heat exchangers. This complements AxFlow’s expertise, providing a robust platform to introduce AxFlow’s fluid-handling product portfolio to a wider customer base.
Moody Direct has its own ‘in house’ Plate Heat Exchanger Service Centre which is complimented by its integrity testing and onsite maintenance. Regular servicing of heat exchangers improves energy transfer rates, leading to greater thermal efficiency. This is especially crucial in industries such as dairy and plant-based production, where energy efficiency can directly impact operational sustainability. The focus on improving thermal efficiency is in line with AxFlow’s strategy to advance energy-efficient solutions and broader goals to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprints across the processing industries.
“We are thrilled to welcome Moody to the AxFlow family," said Neil Langdown, Managing Director of AxFlow UK. "Their expertise in hygienic sales & servicing and reputation for best-in-class customer service will strengthen AxFlow’s existing position in the UK. Moreover, this will enhance our onsite service capability and enable us to offer our customers a comprehensive service offering for homogenisers, separators and plate heat exchangers.”
“Moody’s success has been built on technical expertise and a commitment to customer satisfaction,” noted Ken Wild, Director of Moody. "Joining forces with AxFlow UK not only strengthens our ability to serve customers in our core segments of F&B and Dairy but also opens up new avenues for growth, particularly in the processing industries."
Both companies are committed to ensuring a seamless transition for customers and partners. Existing relationships and contracts will remain unchanged, with the added benefit of access to an expanded range of products and services.
