Vaisala WAV151

Description

Vaisala WAV151 is a counter-balanced weather vane with optoelectronic transducer.

The output is of type GRAY Code 6-bit parallel = 0...360°.

The shaft and housing are supplied with heating elements that ensure minimal friction even in severe cold. Sensor WAV151 is part of Vaisala's WA15 wind measurement system and is normally used together with speed sensor WAA151. The WA15 system is proven, robust and reliable.

Mounting arm for wind sensors for speed and direction pre-wired with co junction box, type WAC151.

Mounting arm as above with analog transmitter for speed and direction with adjustable measuring ranges and mA outputs, type WAT12.

Mounting arm as above with digital transmitter for speed and direction, with RS485 output.
