Description
The measuring principle is based on the fact that at the junction of two dissimilar metals or metal alloys a thermal stress arises which is approximately proportional to the difference in temperature between the end point of the element (the cold point) and the junction (the hot measuring point).
Sensing pockets, compensation cable, transmitters (measuring transducers) and instrumentation such as limit switches, indicators and the like are available as accessories.
