Description
The Chopper Hopper™, a combination of solids reduction system and feed pump. The system enables efficient and energy-saving conversion of biomass by using the latest shredding technology.
A powerful all-in-one solution, the Chopper Hopper can homogenize organic waste into a pumpable mass. The sharp blades of a pre-shredder combined with the ETOS blades of the second shredding stage reduce the particle size of solids the size of whole watermelons to less than 2.5 cm in a single pass. The special design of the power transmission elements in the connected eccentric screw pump ensures low friction, resulting in better overall pump performance.
