Sinus sodial pumps are positive displacement pumps with rotor motion resembling a sine wave. This motion ensures smooth pumping of the medium with minimal pulsations. They are suitable for sensitive and viscous media in hygienic applications as well as for chemical plants.
Sinus Sodial Pumps
Sinus sodial pumps are special types of positive displacement pumps that operate on the basis of a rotor with a sinusoidal shape that rotates inside the stator. The rotor moves in a sinusoidal path, creating a closed chamber between the rotor and the stator. These chambers trap and transfer fluid without significant compression or damage, eliminating pulsations and minimizing turbulent flow. An elastic seal is often added to the rotor to further increase tightness and prevent fluid backflow.
