Description

BORA pumps are dry-running pumps or also positive displacement blowers. They do not need any service fluid for their operation. However, they have to rely on the dissipation of compression heat by radiation, which limits the pressure ratios achievable in the long term. The material design of the BORA blower is cast iron. These blowers are an interesting complement to conventional liquid ring units, in combination with which very high vacuum and high flow rates can be achieved, all at a fraction of the energy consumption.
