Elmo Rietschle Side Channel Blowers G-Series

Discover Elmo Rietschle’s wide range of side channel blowers, known for high performance and reliability. Oil-free blowers for vacuum and pressure applications.

Elmo Rietschle’s side channel blowers have their origins in Siemens' manufacturing, dating back to the mid-20th century. Initially known as Siemens-Elmo and later Nash-Elmo, the original design of a Siemens side channel blower can still be recognized in today's Elmo Rietschle products, which are a direct evolution of the original. Over the years, Siemens' side channel blowers have been copied by many known and unknown manufacturers, but Elmo Rietschle remains the undisputed leader in this technology.

When it comes to performance and reliability, they are clearly at the forefront. The selection of side channel blowers is larger than what other manufacturers can offer. A common feature of all side channel blowers is that they are completely oil-free and can be used for both vacuum and pressure applications.

2BH1 is considered an industry standard in pneumatic conveying, such as for plastic granules and industrial dust handling.

  • Wide range of models in 1- or 2-stage designs
  • Nominal capacities from 50 to 2400 m³/h
  • Pressure difference up to 0.7 bar

2BH2 is known for generating very high pressure for a side channel blower. It can often replace noisy and maintenance-heavy blowers in applications like aeration and pneumatic conveying.

  • Available in 1-, 2-, or 3-stage designs
  • Nominal capacities from 330 to 850 m³/h
  • Pressure difference up to 1.1 bar

2BH7 can, despite its small size, generate pressures up to 1 barg. The combination of low flow and high pressure has historically been challenging to master, but for the 2BH7, it’s no problem.

  • Available in 1-, 2-, or 3-stage designs
  • Nominal capacities from 50 to 230 m³/h
  • Pressure difference up to 1.0 bar

2BH100 is a small side channel blower designed for integration into medical equipment or applications requiring oil-free and pulsation-free air transport.

  • Capacity up to 25 m³/h
  • Pressure range from -100 mbar to +100 mbar
  • 24 VDC

Other features:

  • ATEX certification for dust or gas
  • All blowers can be speed-controlled for an extended operating range. Some types can be controlled up to 100 Hz. Also available with integrated frequency inverters.
  • Available in HT versions for high air temperatures up to 200°C.
  • For increased chemical resistance and higher mechanical wear resistance, blowers can be supplied with internal anodizing, known as Hartcoat.
