In the lithium-ion battery cell, a lithium-based slurry is produced for the cathode. For this purpose, chemical mixers as well as dosing pumps and feed pumps are used. The electrode paste must not contain impurities or gas inclusions and must have a homogeneous composition. In production, lithium is mixed with additives such as binders and solvents.
