ATEX dosing unit

The gear pump automatically doses the flavourings from the supply tank. Inside the supply tank, there is a pressure sensor which continuously monitors the level of the medium in the tank and stops the dosing in case of a lack of flavourings (preventing the pump from running dry). The discharge lines of the pump are fitted with pressure sensors which ensure that the permissible design overpressure of the unit is not exceeded (stopping the pump in the event of pressure overload). A flowmeter on the discharge line ensures the dosing accuracy, the discharge line is equipped with a dosing valve with a non-return valve.
