I have been working for AxFlow since August 2020 as a Sales Ledger Assistant, I've found it to be a progressive, flexible company that I'm really enjoying working for.
I’ve been working at AxFlow since August 2020 prior to this my jobs had been in accounts receivable, and have always been in the housing industry so this is the first role outside of that. This was my first job since a career break to start a family, so flexibility and a work life balance was crucial.
I was nervous about returning to work and the balance but everyone was welcoming and supportive across all teams. I settled in really quickly and easily and the accounts team were all friendly and helpful.
I work part time alongside Jo who does that same role, it works really well for us both. We liaise multiple times a day whilst working from home but also in the office we always have open communication and we can prioritise and split our role each day/week and work together on larger projects/tasks. We’re always keeping each other up to date and can pick up from one another if needed. On busier days I may be able to give more time and equally if for any reason I have needed to ask for time unexpectedly it has always been accommodated.
When I first started I learnt through on the job training, getting on and shown/doing things as things came up rather than a tick box exercise which worked well for myself and the nature of the work I was doing. I’ve always felt supported by all the managers and they take feedback or suggestions on board, working with us to achieve any changes for the better.
