Buna
One of the most economical and widely used elastomer.
Buna-n seals are standard in most pumps and work well for most cleaning and fluid pressurizing applications. Buna seals are a type of synthetic rubber is generally chemical- resistant, standing up to oil, fuel and other harsh materials. They have a wide temperature range of between -54C to 149 and are suitable for a range of viscosities, however it performs best in applications with limited temperature and resistance requirements.
Buna-n o rings have a desirable set of properties including low compression set, high resistance to abrasion, and good tensile strength.
