PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is a semi crystalline polymer having a density of between 1.76 g/cm³ to 1.78 g/cm³ making it a highly dense thermoplastic.
PVDF pumps have many benefits including: excellent chemical resistance without the limitations of poor mechanical properties and/or difficult workability that are characteristic of other fluoro-plastics. It has good weldability, compared to other similar materials it’s also has generally better corrosion resistance, thermal stability and stress cracking resistance than polyproylene.
