How to select turbine pumps
When selecting turbine pumps most of the considerations that apply to centrifugal pumps are relevant. This means the following factors should be considered.
- Flow.
- Differential head.
- Viscosity (max 150 cP).
- Temperature.
- The presence of solids.
- NPSHa.
Turbine pumps don't like solids so these should be avoided.
